About This Activity
Important information below, please review carefully before completing your registration. Program fees are non-refundable once the camp begins. A partial refund (program fee minus $75) will be issued for withdrawals or cancellations made up to 24 hours before the session begins. Athletes will be dropped off at 8am on Monday and picked up on Thursday late afternoon on August 9th. Drop off and pick up are at the SMBA office. An official confirmation with a packing list and additional details will be emailed out to all registered participants 1-week before the session begins. This is a 4-day overnight camping trip. The group will be camping in or near Crested Butte for the week. Athletes must be comfortable camping with other athletes in rustic conditions; and will be responsible for bringing and keeping track of their own camping gear and helping out with cleaning and cooking duties at the campsite throughout the week. Athletes must have intermediate to advanced mountain bike skills and fitness. This trip does not include beginner rides. Athletes must bring a safe well-fitting helmet in good condition, an adequate hydration pack for all day rides, and a mountain bike that is in safe and good working condition, and adequate for rugged trails.
