The group will be camping at designated campsites in the 18 Rd. recreation area north of town. Athletes must be prepared for tent camping in rustic conditions and are expected to help keep the campsite tidy and keep their belongs in order for the duration of the trip. Athletes must have foundational mountain bike handling skills and be comfortable on intermediate to advanced singletrack trails (blue, blue/black, black difficulty ratings). This camp is not suitable for beginners. Participants must bring a mountain bike in safe, working condition that is adequate for rugged singletrack. Athletes must also bring a safe working, well-fitting helmet (no cracks, dents, sunlight damage, or compressed foam), a hydration pack that can carry all necessary items for a full day of riding in the backcountry, and all necessary camping gear. Athletes are responsible for maintaining and keeping track of all their belongings for the duration of the trip.
