About This Activity
We’re excited to launch Mack’s very first Ultimate Frisbee team this spring! Ultimate is a fast-paced, team sport that combines elements of soccer, basketball, and football — played with a flying disc. Players move the disc down the field through passing and cutting, and scoring by catching it in the end zone. The game emphasizes teamwork, communication, fitness, and “Spirit of the Game” — a unique focus on sportsmanship and integrity. Practices will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:45-5:15pm at Mack, where students will build skills, learn game strategy, and scrimmage as a team. Throughout the season, there will also be occasional off-site games and scrimmages against other local teams. An official season calendar with game days will be shared closer to the start of the season. Save the Date: Middle School State Tournament – May 2nd at Long Lake Regional Park, Arvada We welcome 5th-8th students of all experience levels — whether your child has played for years or is picking up a disc for the first time. We can’t wait to get this team off the ground!
