About This Activity
Bel Canto is the premier auditioned ensemble for students in 6th - 9th grades. Bel Canto (“Beautiful Singing”) singers perform in 2, 3 and 4 part harmony while working to develop strong musicianship and music theory skills. They perform at all BCC concerts, the Holiday Concert and several community outreach events each season. They are also often featured in performances by the Boulder Chorale’s adult ensembles. Bel Canto operates as an academic-year program. There is the expectation that your Singer will participate from August - May. Treble Voices only (female voices and unchanged male voices). Must audition if new. If a returning Singer, no need to reaudition.
