About This Activity
On Fridays, the Eagles gather to deepen their skills, independence, and leadership as they grow into young stewards of the land. Students in this group engage more deeply in Kiva’s Adventure Quest skill tracks, refining their abilities in areas such as wilderness survival, land stewardship, traditional crafts, and ecological awareness. At this stage, participants are invited to take greater ownership of projects, collaborate in meaningful ways with their peers, and contribute to the care of the land and the broader community. Through mentorship and hands-on experience, students strengthen resilience, creativity, and confidence while developing practical life skills. Each semester culminates with an Immersion Excursion Wilderness Experience, where students apply their learning during an extended outdoor adventure. The Fall 2026 Immersion Ecursion is a day-long event, and the Spring session includes an overnight adventure. Thanksgiving Break: week of 11/23/26 Winter Break: We will have 5 weeks off for winter break starting on 12/21/26 and returning on 1/25/27 Spring Break: week of 3/15/27
