About This Activity
The Homeschool Enrichment Program, Trailblazers Group Day 2, invites children aged (5-12) to join a supportive community devoted to playful learning, service, and collaboration. Children use their helping hands to be stewards of the land. They develop compassionate hearts through collaborative games, community council and singing. With invigorated minds they answer and explore questions about the world that surrounds them while learning traditional living skills and local ecology. Wednesdays is an Adventure Learning Day, where participants enjoy core routines of nature connection, free play, and service learning coupled with a prolonged self-directed learning time. During that time, a mentor offers a skill-share option that students can opt to participate in, while other mentors support the children to dive deeper into emergent interests that arise during their adventures on the land. Each session includes 15 regular meeting days plus one weekend rock climbing adventure day! Thanksgiving Break: week of 11/23/24 Winter Break: We will have 7 weeks off for winter break: 12/16/24 - 2/2/25 Spring Break: week of 3/24/25
