Folder and pencils each week This class will focus on different types of literature studies.We will use videos, vocabulary, comprehension questions, and activities to study each book. Each book will have something that is graded. It may be vocabulary quizzes, comprehension test, or a project that will be presented to the class. Required Reading books will need to be purchased ahead of time. Audiobooks and digital books are fine. I have a 3 year rotation of books that I use to teach Middle School Literature. So that it allows students to take the class 3 times if they want. I am Melissa Joiner. I am a Christian. I have a degree in Elementary Education. I taught for 5 years in public and Christian schools prior to homeschooling my 3 children. I have been homeschooling since 2012. My oldest daugher graduated from HEAT in 2024. I love all things music, flamingos, creating things (crocheting, sewing, and puzzles), and tacos.
