Kinder Jr. with Mrs. Kelly Kinder Jr. is the perfect blend of Pre-K and Kindergarten, designed for young learners ages 4-6 who are ready to explore foundational skills in a fun and engaging environment! In this class, students will: Learn and practice writing letters and recognizing the sounds they make. Work on writing their names with confidence. Develop early math skills through counting and number activities. Enjoy hands-on arts and crafts projects. Read stories that spark imagination and curiosity. Learn the days of the week, months of the year, and seasons. Play games that encourage learning and cooperative play. Strengthen fine motor skills with cutting, tracing, and gluing activities. Through interactive lessons, creative activities, and play-based learning, Kinder Jr. helps children build a strong foundation for future learning while having fun with their peers! Originally from Colorado, I’ve been homeschooling my two boys for six years and have been part of the Tampa Bay HEAT community for four years. Teaching is something I truly love, and I enjoy creating hands-on, engaging lessons that make learning exciting and memorable. Outside of teaching, I’m a homeschooling mom and crafter who loves spending time outdoors. Whether it’s a day at the beach, exploring nature, or simply enjoying fresh air with my family, I believe learning happens everywhere—not just in the classroom!
