About This Activity
In the Lego HEATS class, students will explore different concepts in history, engineering, art, technology, and science, all while building with Legos! Together we will discover a different topic each week and build around that theme. This class will promote problem-solving skills and creative thinking, and improve overall knowledge of core subjects. *Feel free to bring your own LEGO’s and parts from home, but be sure they are in a bag or box labeled with the child’s name! HEAT Graduate and USF College student Emily Binkley has extensive experience as an assistant teacher and volunteer of children's classes. This is her 4th year teaching Lego at the HRC.
