About This Activity
Ages 11-15 Tuesdays beginning August 19th and running for 12 weeks $178 early bird registration (includes all supplies) This is a 12-week course. Give your child confidence in everyday life skills. This will be a hands-on and very fun class, with skills that will be handy for life! Supplies included. Must be aware of any food allergies ahead of class. (Do not recommend if you have several food allergies.) Fall 2025 Semester will include (not specifically this order): Intro/Safety to Home Ec, Vitamins, Cafe Coffee/Teas, Jobs/forms and Resumes, Manners Matter, Basic Car Care and Knowledge, Puddings/Custards, Grocery Games, Pet Care 101, Strange Ingredient Substitutions, Meat Safety, Cake Decorating Party. Hi, my name is Nicole Cohn, I am a Christian, I have been married for 20 years, I have one daughter, a spoiled dog, and we have been homeschooling for the last seven years. My daughter graduated in 2024 from Tampa Bay HEAT and now attends SEU. Most of my career was spent in the Veterinary, Phlebotomy, and Emergency Medicine field. I love being creative, having fun, and laughing any chance I get. I use my creative side as the Tampa Bay HEAT Event Coordinator, teaching art, home economics, geography, and general science classes. I also enjoy leading our HEAT STEAM program. For fun I spend time with my family and friends, go to theme parks, go antiquing, watch sunsets, go fishing, and I am usually up for anything!
