About This Activity
Instructor: Ms Jen Model United Nations is an academic simulation that is based on the activities of the United Nations General Assembly. The simulation allows students to role-play as they discuss and debate significant global events and crises. Students take on the role of diplomats representing nations from all over the world as they learn about the UN system, the skills of debate, compromise, conflict resolution and negotiation. MUN covers a wide variety of subjects such as speech, debate, geography, history, political science, and professional presence. At the end of the course we will conduct a class conference and pass out awards to the highest ranking delegates. Email: beachsidemama@gmail.com Jen Holmstrom is a mom of 3 and has always homeschooled. Ms Jen specializes in musical theatre and performing arts as a singer, dancer, actor. She has experience as a director, choreographer, and film producer for Hollywood music videos and community stage productions. She has a BA and an Advanced Diploma in Acting & Theatre. At Tampa Bay HEAT, Ms Jen is the Head of the Theatre Department, Music Director, and the Thespian Honor Society Troupe Leader.
