Beginning with the rise and fall of the Greek and Roman empires, then studying the Mesoamerican civilizations and ending with the study of the medieval Europe. History will be seen through a biblical lens and answering the following questions as we go through our studies. 1-How do global issues and connections impact the gospel commission? 2-How has God enabled humans to develop science and technology to improve society? 3-What is the foundation of the sovereignty of God and how does it compare to the sovereignty of human government? 4-What role does God play in the development of communities, nations, and the world? Students will learn research skills using primary, secondary and tertiary sources. Units will also be taught through projects and hands-on activities/experiences. Planning for a field trip to the renaissance festival as a real-life experience of medieval life.
