About This Activity
The Junior Drama Class is designed to introduce students age 5 and up to the wonders of drama in a fun and engaging way. A typical class will include some improvisation and character-building games to allow the students to feel more comfortable speaking in front of others. These skills will be employed in the production of a short children's play, from experiencing an audition to final performance bows. Each student will participate in the play, and will be responsible for his own costumes and props. We are pleased to have Mr. Hal running this production! He has directed our HEAT Drama Troupe in multiple performances over that past 15 years and is active in community and church theater in the area.
