Developmental (5th grade and up) JV and Varsity High School Teams (6th-8th considered based on ability) If you are interested in swim, please contact coach Teresa Beebe at tmbeebe@verizon.net. She will answer questions about next year’s season and outline a voluntary summer plan to prepare your athlete for the season. Wednesday, July 29th 9:00 AM-10:00 AM Information Meeting at High 5 All interested swimmers should attend with a parent Friday, July 31st 9-11 Returning Swimmers Monday, August 3rd Tryouts for all teams Developmental Swimming This group is for rising 5th graders and any middle or high school swimmer who doesn’t want to compete. Swimmers will improve stroke technique and work on increasing fitness levels. Swimmers will NOT compete. Must be able to swim at least 1 length of both freestyle and backstroke. This is not a learn to swim class. Practice on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday beginning August 5th from 9:00-10:00 AM August-late October at High 5 Season fees are $275 to cover coaching and pool rental (less than $25/week for 3 days of swimming instruction!) FHSAA Paperwork is only required for the JV and Varsity teams. Not needed for developmental! JV and Varsity High School Team 6th-8th graders are considered based on ability Coach Teresa Beebe Complete and submit your FHSAA paperwork (high school level only) by the July 24th deadline and receive a $50 discount on your season fees! There is mandatory FHSAA paperwork to participate in high school level sports that all high school aged and middle school swimmers wishing to try out for the high school level team must complete by July 24th! MWF practices starting August 3rd from 9-11 AM at High 5 Meets on Tuesday/Thursday afternoons/evenings Aug/Oct Season fees are $425 ($375) with paperwork discount) for JV (fewer meets) and $500 ($450 with paperwork discount) for Varsity. Swimmers will purchase individual team suits.
