Elementary 1We use half-court nets and large decompressed red balls to bring the game to the kids size and help them learn to play without feeling like they need to swing for the fences on the full court. 23-inch racquet is highly recommended and 21-inch is acceptable. Anything bigger than 23 inches is too big for the court and if they are not struggling to swing they may need to move up to the next age group :).What can you expect from this clinic:- Drills and games to improve motor skills, hand-eye coordination and footwork.- Stroke of the week emphasis.- Introductory rallying and point play (subject to development throughout the session)- Building good sportsmanship, communication and teamwork habits. What we expect from the kids:- Give your best effort.- Have a positive and respectful attitude towards coaches and teammates (keeping listening ears on!)- Wearing appropriate athletic footwear/attire. If you are wearing sandals, crocs, boots, etc you will not be allowed to participate for the day.2026 Winter Session 1 – (8 Weeks) October 19 through December 19.
