MS (Middle School) Junior Excellence:These juniors should have at least 2-3 years of continuous and concentrated playing experience. They should have at least some degree of proficiency with all strokes, including the serve. They must know all the basic rules of the game and scoring for both doubles and singles. They should be starting to play competitively on a school team or in tournaments. In some cases a tryout with Coach Hains is requested. Approval is required for this clinic.
HS (High School) Junior Excellence Requirements:These juniors should have at least 3-5 years of continuous and concentrated playing experience or approval from Coach Hains. They should have a higher degree of proficiency with all strokes, including the serve. They should be developing a good foundation of tactics and strategy for singles and doubles play. They should be actively competing on school teams and have established either a UTR rating, a USTA junior ranking, or both. A tryout with Coach Hains may be requested.
2026 Winter Session 1 – (8 Weeks) October 19 through December 19. Skip Dates: (Nov. 11 ISC & MF closes 3pm) (Nov. 23-28 ). We would need at least 48 hour notice if you have to cancel. Refunds will not be issued after classes have begun. 4-Player minimum per class, space is limited.
