A paid arts and career apprenticeship program for teens who are interested in the visual and performing arts. Students ages 13 through the summer after their senior year in high school can attend. Students 14 and older receive a stipend of $60 per week, based upon experience and participation in the school year program. Accepted students are required to attend Mondays – Fridays, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM for the entire program. Lunch is provided. Participants receive training in one of four studios in the visual, performing or media arts. In addition to their studio intensives, apprentices also take part in career specific workshops and job readiness. The program culminates in an art show and performance showcase. The program is free but there is limited space.
