Instructor: Tevon Palermo The perfect way to introduce your child to needlepoint! Join Mrs. Palermo this fall in a kid-friendly introduction to stitching. Students will learn to thread a needle, create a waste knot, complete a basketweave stitch, and how to stop and end their threads. Students will work on their own canvas, which will be finished and framed at the end of the semester. This class will help your child to find a new hobby, all while teaching that keeping their hands and minds busy is helpful in many ways - for travel, time waiting, and relaxation. Due to the nature of the course, registration is limited. Supplies will be provided for each student by BASC.
