About This Activity

Description

This is a tentative class/camp. Registrations will be accepted if it becomes official.

This intensive review class is for students who already know Singapore Math and grammar but need a refresher course. Singapore Math concepts will be reviewed and reinforced. Students will brush up on their math facts, review the bar modeling strategy, and practice mental math strategies. Grammar will begin with a review of all eight parts of speech. From there, we will delve into independent clauses, the five functions of a noun, adjectival and adverbial phrases, and more complicated sentence diagramming. Students will receive extra time to review concepts and the explicit instruction they need to more fully understand both Singapore Math and the world of the English language.

If there is a wait list on this class and you are still interested in taking this class, please contact the Summer Staff at summerdays@brookfieldacademy.org if you would like to inquire about placement into this class.
