About This Activity
Full Week Programming: Mon-Fri From our earliest days as a species, humans have been making art. This week, we will travel back in time to meet our ancient ancestors and to learn what, how, and why they made it! We’ll make pots that tell stories, mosaics of daily life, quill-and-ink maps, and more. Drawing on traditions from across the world, we will explore art that was made for decoration, storytelling, investigation, or even worship. Finally, we’ll ask the question: what will our art say about us when we are the artists of the past?
