About This Activity
Full Week Programming In this course students will be introduced to noteworthy photographers such as Laurie Simmons, Cindy Sherman, Carrie Mae Weems, and David Hockney, to name a few. During this weeklong class, students will develop their unique photographic style and will walk away from this class with a portfolio of images they are proud of. Students will learn introductory camera techniques and will discuss what makes a good photograph. On the last day of class, each student will be invited to print their favorite photographs to exhibit in a mini gallery show with their classmates. All levels are welcome. Students will need either a DSLR, point-and-shoot, or smartphone camera for the class. If you need a camera, please email office@brooklineartscenter.com and we will try
