About This Activity
Full Week Programming: February Vacation Travel through art history in this week-long camp! Each day, students will be introduced to a different artist and learn about their unique style, story, and way of seeing the world. Children will explore printmaking inspired by Hokusai’s waves, create imaginative self-portraits like Frida Kahlo, experiment with emotion and movement like Vincent van Gogh, and discover more artists throughout the week. Through drawing, painting, and mixed-media projects, students will build confidence, express their ideas, and make artwork that is completely their own — all while learning that there are endless ways to be an artist.
