About This Activity
Full Day Programming: MLK Jr. Day Join us for a one-day art class inspired by the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the role of posters in social change. Students will explore how artists and activists have used bold visuals, words, and color to make their voices heard throughout history — from the Civil Rights Movement to present-day causes. Through guided examples and hands-on design activities, students will brainstorm a message they care about, sketch their ideas, and create their own large-scale poster using mixed media.
