About This Activity
10 Sessions *No class Oct 12 Spend the Fall exploring the wonderful world of clay and all of its sculptural possibilities. Students will learn a range of hand-building techniques including coil building, double pinch pot construction, and slab mug sculpting, and discover how these methods can be used to create both functional and imaginative forms. Through guided demonstrations and plenty of creative freedom, kids will experiment with shape, texture, and surface design as they bring their ideas to life. Ceramic work will be fired and ready to take home 6-8 weeks after the session ends. You will be contacted by a staff member when the work is ready for pickup. For full session classes (10 Sessions), registration remains open until the third class meeting. Missed classes are not eligible for refunds or prorated tuition.
