INSTRUCTOR: TAC STAFF After School Classes (ages 5-10) are hands-on textile arts classes. TAC’s After School program runs from 3pm–5:45pm* Monday through Thursday in Brooklyn. Classes run in 8-week cycles, rotating through Weaving, Printing & Dyeing, Felting & Soft Sculpture, and Sewing & Fashion. You can try one or all four! *3-4pm is snack and homework time as students get picked up from neighborhood schools or dropped off by their grown-ups. Class starts at 4pm. SEWING & SOFT SCULPTURE: Students explore soft sculpture, creating stuffed animals and three dimensional objects working with patterns and fabric of their own design. This class utilizes hand sewing, machine sewing, felting, and mixed media textile techniques. Pick up is available at the following schools for the days specified: PS 321: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday PS 372: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday PS 133: Tuesday, Thursday PS 39: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday PS 118: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Berkeley Carroll: Monday Please note school pick-up is subject to change based on the 2026/27 individual school policies.
