About This Activity
INSTRUCTOR: TAC STAFF Textiles for Tweens (ages 11-14) is a gallery-based program at the Brooklyn location of the Textile Arts Center. This hands-on class explores students' personal artistic interests in the midst of our Artist in Residence studios, and will provide full access to our dye lab, screen printing facilities, sewing machines, looms, & more. Students will be able to draw inspiration from the eight resident artists’ evolving work in fine arts, fashion design, and home textiles, and gain insight into the endless possibilities within the world of textiles.
