About This Activity

AUTOMATIC STUDIOS 2020 VIRTUAL SUMMER FILM CAMP This summer we have revamped our programming and optimized it for filmmaking at home! We have exciting new curriculum to share and we believe that this will give opportunity for more students to experience our programming. Each student will make their own 2-3 Min Film All your young filmmakers will need is the following: - iPhone, iPad or DSLR camera - Computer with access to Zoom and an editing program such as iMovie, Premiere or Final Cut Pro. - For those that will be in NYC this summer, with NY State and City COVID safety procedures in practice and consideration, students will have Scheduled Access to our studio and equipment to shoot their individual films. An Additional Studio Fee will apply and must be scheduled no later than the Friday before their Camp week so that we can prepare our studio and staff. Each 3 Hour Day (with a 15 min snack break) will consist of live group sessions with teachers to include a video package complete with tutorials and film samples for reference as students work on their films as well as individual work time where teachers are available for one-on-one help sessions during scheduled off hours.
