About This Activity
Advisor: Finch Robotics Email: BIBLAuxiliary@basisindependent.com This course brings developmentally appropriate robotics and early coding to our youngest members using the Finch Robot, a small, durable robot that moves, draws, and makes sounds, no screens or reading required. Guided by Frankie the Fox, a friendly companion character, members help Frankie work through things she doesn't quite understand, or learn a new idea Frankie teaches the class, using the Finch as their hands-on tool for exploring and solving problems together. Along the way, members build social-emotional skills like empathy and patience, discover early foundations of AI, and practice early math through play.
