Advisor: Ms. Kahleyse Smith Email: BIBL_Auxiliary@basisindependent.com In Future Authors Book Club, students get to combine their love of reading and art into a mindful, meaningful book journal. We will be reading the autobiography "Ugly" by Robert Hoge, an inspiring story about a boy born with facial deformities. Throughout the book, he details his childhood and his experience navigating friendships, family, and his feelings about himself. Future Authors will be writing their own collaborative story about bravery, confidence, and making the right choices. We are so excited to work together as we foster their love for literacy!
