About This Activity
This course will leverage a variety of coding platforms including code.org and Scratch Jr, when appropriate, to introduce students to fundamental coding concepts such as loops, conditionals, events, and more. Students will use a variety of unplugged activities in tandem with the plugged coding activities to relate challenging concepts to their real world experiences. Additionally, students will apply their coding concepts to real world machines by using the SPIKE Essential robots. Students will create robots that move, light up, sense color, and more using the same code they learned in the coding portion of class
