About This Activity
Join Lindsay and friends to practice Spanish through play, flexible immersion, and thematic projects. Tell visual stories with Darío, an illustrator from Colombia. Learn baile folclórico and build an altar for Día de los Muertos with Silvia and Marcela from Mexico. Prepare Dominican food with Rany. Plant and harvest medicinal plants with Sorangel. Make slime and bouncy balls in Spanish with Lindsay. Specific themes and workshops to be decided based on co-facilitator availability. This program is designed for grades 1-3, but open to older kids as helpers with coordinator’s approval.
