Made famous again by shows like Stranger Things and Podcasts like Critical Role and Dimension 20, Dungeons & Dragons is the largest and most popular tabletop role-playing game in the world. In D&D, students create fictional characters in a vast fantasy world and work together to solve problems and defeat monsters through both social communication and dice-based combat. Dungeons and Dragons has been proven to boost public speaking abilities, foster critical thinking through improvisation and imagination, promote literacy and math skills, and provide a safe and inclusive environment for students to express themselves. Students will be led by a GM (Game Master) who will introduce them and their characters to an exciting world full of endless possibilities. What happens every week is up to the students’ imaginations and the results of their dice rolls.
