At Zine Camp, kids explore the world of DIY zine-making and book arts through fun, hands-on projects. The perfect place for curious minds and bold imaginations. Campers will experiment with paper, scissors, stamps, bone folders, photocopiers, coil-punch binders, staple binders, needle-and-thread, and more! Along the way, they’ll learn creative folding techniques and discover how to reuse and recycle everyday materials in inventive ways. Every session is different! Kids might make mini-comics, secret pocket books, fold-out posters, pop-up pages, collaborative zines, or even “instant books” made on the copier. Booklyn Educators design fresh projects each time—so no repeats (unless kids request them!). Come for one session or all of them. There’s always something new to create. No experience needed. Just bring your imagination and a love of making things. Questions? Reach us at hello@booklyn.org. *What is a zine (/zēn/)? Zine Camp is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the NY City Council.
