INSTRUCTOR: TAC STAFF After School Classes (ages 5-10) are hands-on textile arts classes. TAC’s After School program runs from 3pm–5:45pm* Monday through Thursday in Brooklyn. Classes run in 8-week cycles, rotating through Weaving, Printing & Dyeing, Felting & Soft Sculpture, and Sewing & Fashion. You can try one or all four! *3-4pm is snack and homework time as students get picked up from neighborhood schools or dropped off by their grown-ups. Class starts at 4pm. WEAVING: There is nothing like weaving on a loom. Students delight in mastering this ancient machine to create their very own fabric. Simple enough for beginners, with endless room for exploration.
