About This Activity
Monthly Rosh Chodesh Program for 8th and 9th Graders: Rosh Chodesh is a celebration of the new month - a time when Jews have traditionally gathered to socialize and reflect on Jewish teachings. We invite all 8th and 9th graders to join us for this special program where they can explore relevant Jewish ideas and remain connected to their Jewish community, all while hanging out with Fig Tree friends (old and new). Our structured sessions will include stimulating discussions exploring Jewish dilemmas, service work, engagement with social justice issues, art-making and more.
