About This Activity
This week-long program introduces students to foundational and advanced concepts in probability and statistics through interactive lectures, hands-on experiments, and real-world applications. From dice rolls and card games to data collection and game design, students explore theoretical vs. experimental probability, combinatorics, descriptive statistics, and probability distributions. The week concludes with a group project and guest speaker highlighting careers in the field, helping students connect classroom learning to real-world opportunities.
