About This Activity
In this ballet class, students will begin to develop grace, discipline, flexibility, stamina, endurance and technique, as they learn the basic fundamentals of classical ballet. We will focus on basic ballet technique, such as the positions of the feet and arms, vocabulary, and musicality. Students will also be introduced to elementary barre, center work, and across-the-floor routines. Ballet shoes are required. (We have gently worn ballet shoes for sale, sizes vary). Ballet attire is recommended: Tights and a leotard, or leggings/shorts and a fitted shirt. Boys may wear pants are that easy to move in or shorts.
