Though the practice of yoga, we’ll use our bodies and breath to go on adventures and learn new things about our world and ourselves! Flying like birds, crawling like dogs, stretching like cats, we’ll learn and play about the way our bodies move. Buzzing like bees, humming like airplanes, and singing out the sound of OM we’ll explore how to use our breath to calm or energize ourselves. Through meditation and mindfulness exercises we’ll explore how our hearts and our minds change and move too(and how to listen and make decisions about how we feel about that). Kiddos are recommended to wear appropriate clothes to move and play in as we will sometime be going upside down. We will be taking off our shoes for class, so no footwear required.
