About This Activity
Students will assume the role of a veterinarian physician and surgeon caring for dog health. Our Little Veterinarians will get to perform dog assessments making a nose to tail exam, keeping dog healthy with proper dog nutrition, learn about ticks, caring for lacerations and also learn some basic surgical skills, immunization and more! Students will learn about veterinarian team roles necessary to have in a veterinarian clinic, understand the use of x-rays for dog examination, dog digestion, dog eye health, dog body language and keeping pets safe.
