Drawing Fundamentals 3: Advanced Drawing for Older Children & Teens An advanced drawing class for students aged 9+ ready to build on foundational skills. Explore perspective, shading, tone, and a wider range of drawing tools and techniques. Strengthen technical ability while developing personal style and creative decision-making. This advanced drawing class is designed for students aged 9 and up who are ready to apply their foundational drawing skills to more complex and creative projects. Students take on engaging challenges that strengthen technical ability while expanding creative thinking. Projects include drawing landscapes and scenes using perspective, building depth through shading and tone with lines and markers, experimenting with new drawing tools, and creating detailed pencil drawings. Students are also encouraged to develop their own artistic voice and make more intentional choices in their work. This class provides a focused and supportive studio environment where students can grow in confidence, refine their skills, and continue developing both technical control and creative expression. **Pre-requisites:** Best suited for students with two or more years of Aliki’s weekly art classes. We also welcome students with previous drawing experience; a brief consultation is recommended for new students before registration. **Additional Information:** All art supplies used in class are included. Each student also receives a personal sketchbook to develop their skills and create a cherished portfolio of their artwork. No classes are held on long weekends. This course includes 33–36 classes over a 9-month term, with fees prorated to reflect scheduled days off.
