About This Activity
This interdisciplinary arts combo invites students to explore creativity through a dynamic mix of drawing, construction, and mixed media. Projects include geometric design using triskele forms, sculptural spheres built through paper construction, and intuitive collage that encourages personal expression and creative freedom. Students will also create a handmade pocket journal to sketch, write, and collect ideas throughout the process. This class nurtures problem-solving, fine motor skills, and artistic confidence while allowing students to experiment with materials in a relaxed, exploratory studio environment. All students will receive a studio supply kit to use during the camp at our studio. All completed projects will remain at the studio until the end of the week, allowing students to proudly showcase their artwork. They will take home not only their artwork but also a wealth of knowledge and a multitude of new ideas.
