About This Activity
This camp is the perfect introduction for students new to acrylic painting. Through progressive, guided projects, students will learn essential skills such as colour mixing, tonal values, blending, and brush techniques. Free exploration of this versatile and easy-to-learn medium is a key part of the camp, encouraging creativity and personal expression. Students will also enjoy an introductory exploration of alcohol inks, discovering their vibrant colours, fluid movement, and unique effects. With plenty of hands-on practice, students will build skills, gain self-confidence, express themselves, and—most importantly—have FUN! All students receive their own supply kit to use during the camp at the studio. Projects remain at the studio throughout the week to allow proper drying and layering, and are brought home at the end of the week.
