*Note: this will be a female-only group* The physical demands placed on softball players is unlike that of any other sport. The games basic skills require incredible amounts of power and speed that must be combined with balance and stability in order to perform them with precision. During Phase 3, volume will go down to 2 days per week in order to manage practice volume while continuing to develop strength right into the spring season. Each training session will be led by a certified strength & conditioning coach. Use phase 3 to continue to develop: -Power at the plate -Bat control -Velocity on the mound -Ability to locate pitches -Range at all positions -Foot speed on defense -Speed on the base paths -Ability to stay healthy all season Small Group Training will Emphasize: -Low Coach to Player Ratio -1-on-1 Attention -Motivating Group Atmosphere -Movement-Based Athletic Style of Training Training Times: Tuesday 7:00pm Saturday 10:00am
