*Note: this will be a female-only group* The physical demands placed on softball players are unlike that of any other sport. The games basic skills require incredible amounts of power and speed that must be combined with balance and stability in order to perform them with precision. The athletic, core-based training style employed by Diamondawgs Conditioning will develop an athlete's strength while teaching them to stabilize their pelvis and core, maintain balance throughout dynamic movements, transfer power efficiently through the body, repeat mechanics with precision, move with greater efficiency and speed. Each training session will be led by a certified strength & conditioning coach who will design the softball program with the female athlete in mind. An off-season strength program that builds balance, strength, power, and agility will improve: -Power at the plate -Bat control -Pitching velocity -Ability to locate pitches -Range at all positions -Foot speed on defense -Speed on the base paths -Ability to stay healthy all season Small Group Training will Emphasize: -Low Coach to Player Ratio -1-on-1 Attention -Motivating Group Atmosphere -Movement-Based Athletic Style of Training Training Times: Tuesday 6:00pm-7:00pm Thursday 7:15pm-8:15pm Saturday 12:00pm-1:00pm
