This training program is designed specifically to develop strong, dynamic and healthy throwing mechanics for softball players. In addition to throwing, there will be a large portion of the session dedicated to glovework and defensive footwork. We will focus on: -correct warm up & cool down routines -developing arm health by improving throwing patterns -develop arm strength through a progression that will include long toss, plyo balls, and drills to incorporate footwork -glovework drills to develop confidence in fielding mechanics -footwork to field at each position -challenging players with complex movement drills to make them dynamic defenders on the field This session will set players up to be confident with their glove and accurate with their arms as they head into the season. Each session players will work through a consistent warm up, improve their arm action with drill work and video analysis, and complete a series of arm strengthening exercises for performance and injury prevention. Players will be divided within this group based on age and skill level.
