About This Activity

William Collins was a former All-American in track as a collegiate and in high school. With his experience in biomechanics and sports performance, he has developed some of the fastest athletes in the world every year for the last 19+ years. He has worked with over 100+ Pro athletes from all sports from the Olympics, NBA, MLB, and the NFL. He currently assists and consults for many professional, collegiate, high school, and youth programs all over the world. He is the founder of Fast University, one of the top brands in the track and field world, and is actively empowering athletes and coaches all around the world. The "Coaching the Whole Athlete" workshop will explore the multifaceted aspects of athlete development, delving into the components that constitute the entirety of an athlete. It will address the mental and psychological requirements essential for athletes to thrive, examining the delicate balance between providing adequate support without overwhelming them. Furthermore, the workshop will investigate the impact of individual learning styles on an athlete's overall performance and progression. Additionally, it will emphasize the importance of prioritizing the coach-athlete relationship above tangible outcomes, recognizing its profound influence on athletes' well-being and ultimate success. Free for members! $50 for non-members (reminder: A WRCC Yearly Membership is only $50)!
