About This Activity
This full-day camp combines two engaging half-day sessions to provide a fun, hands-on STEM learning experience throughout the day. Morning Session: Minecraft Coding & Modding: Design Your Own World In this interactive session, students will go beyond gameplay and learn how to create and integrate their own Minecraft mods. With guidance from our instructors, they will customize their worlds by adding new features, challenges, and creative elements. Throughout the session, students will: - Design and build custom Minecraft worlds - Create and implement mods to enhance gameplay - Develop problem-solving and logical thinking skills - Explore creativity through game design and storytelling This experience empowers students to turn their ideas into fully interactive digital worlds. Afternoon Session: Robotics Rockstars: Build, Code & Innovate Students will build and program robots using technologies such as VEX, LEGO®, Essentials, and LEGO® SPIKE™. They will explore how motors, sensors, and coding work together to bring robotic creations to life. Through hands-on projects, students will: - Design and construct their own robots - Program movements and sensor-based interactions - Experiment, test, and improve their designs This session builds engineering skills, creativity, and confidence through fun, interactive challenges. This full-day format keeps students engaged with a balance of creativity, learning, and hands-on exploration. ✔ Daily parent updates ✔ All equipment provided Students should bring lunch, snacks, and a water bottle.
