Course Description: Yoga, Yum, and You is a relaxing and joyful 9-week wellness series designed to help adults with disabilities unwind, connect, and develop lifelong self-care habits through yoga, mindfulness, and nutrition. Each week begins with a light lunch at Ascendigo, followed by a gentle, inclusive yoga session at Kula Yoga on Main, led by certified instructors experienced in adaptive practices. After yoga, participants return to Ascendigo to prepare a simple, healthy snack together—a delicious way to nourish body and mind before starting the weekend. The program emphasizes mindfulness, movement, nutrition, and community connection, all within a supportive and sensory-friendly environment.
