No script? No problem! Using a series of improvisation games and exercises, students will develop not only their confidence and creativity but also their listening and public speaking skills. We will learn how to trust and support our scene partners, build an ensemble, and provide a full story arc within an improvised sketch. Whether students are interested in acting or not, this all-purpose creative expression class will meet them where they’re at, moment to moment. This camp is facilitated by Michael Fisher, a new Pacific Ridge English teacher and improv leader. Michael has led improv clubs with students since 2018 and has trained with the San Francisco Mime Troupe and Medicine Theater in the Bay Area.
