About This Activity
3D modeling and sculpting are exciting, hands-on skills used in games, film, engineering, and product design, and 3D printing makes it even more rewarding to see ideas become real objects. In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of digital sculpting and modeling using Nomad, a powerful but beginner-friendly 3D app, along with an introduction to using 3D printers. We’ll start with guided instruction, build skills through hands-on modeling, and move into printing as students gain confidence. By the end of the week, every student will walk away with a custom 3D-printed sculpture that’s ready to be painted and proudly displayed.
